Adam & Company taps InterSystems for online CRM

InterSystems Corporation today announced that the private bank Adam & Company has selected InterSystems Caché, the high performance object database, to drive development of its new transactional Customer Relationship portal.

Adam & Company is a private bank that offers a highly professional banking and investment management service to its 9,000 high net-worth customers. The company offers its clients an ethos that allows them to discuss their financial affairs discreetly and at their own pace.

Adam & Company's key focus is to be service-driven and whilst the relationships with their clients are personal, the change in the way that their clients manage their affairs required a Web-based banking solution that enabled their clients to have a more proactive way of managing their finances. The advent of a more competitive marketplace required that Adam & Company develop applications that maintained its competitive edge and supported customer retention.

Ian Jones, head of IT for Adam & Company, stated, "The choice of InterSystems' software to fulfil this was due to the advanced technologies the company have brought to the market over the years. In addition to this, we have built in-house expertise across the InterSystems portfolio of products, thereby enabling us to quickly deploy new applications based on InterSystems software that support business initiatives for the Bank."

"We are delighted that Adam & Company has chosen InterSystems as the technology provider to help drive its on-line customer relationship solution based on our long and successful history of working together." Said Paul Rayner, sales manager financial services sector at InterSystems. "Our high performance database software will enable Adam & Company's customers to manage their finances on-line, whilst at the same time retaining the personal banking touch that is the bank's hallmark."
