Sage targets Chinese market with Kapronasia

Sage SA, publisher of Prospero, a cutting-edge front to back-office banking system, today announced that they had retained Kapronasia to help their expansion into the Greater China region.

SAGE SA, a privately-held software publisher, was founded in 1986, has its headquarters in Switzerland, with branches in Dubai and Singapore. SAGE SA's software helps some of the world's leading firms improve their productivity while focusing on their core competence.
Patrick Rotzetter, Director of Business Development for SAGE SA Asia Pacific said, "We are excited about the opportunities that Greater China presents as the population is becoming wealthier and demand for wealth management services is increasing. When we were looking for a partner, we wanted to find one with both the industry and geographical experience to help us quickly understand and act on the opportunities in the market. Kapronasia was a natural choice."

Kapronasia is a China based consultancy helping Financial Technology companies create and sustain a competitive advantage in the Asia Pacific Financial Services Industry through a combination of research, strategy and sales enablement. As part of the partnership, Kapronasia will be helping SAGE SA identify potential customers and explore deals in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China.

"We are delighted to be working with Sage SA and are excited about the prospects for the Prospero product in the Greater China region," said Zennon Kapron, MD of Kapronasia. "Prospero blends together features and functionality to provide a scalable Global Banking and Wealth Management System which will be essential for banks across Greater China in the next few years as their Asset and Wealth Management needs mature and increase."
