RTS offers Nasdaq Dubai connectivity

RTS Realtime Systems Group, a leading trading solutions provider, announced that it is now offering connectivity to Nasdaq Dubai, the international stock exchange formerly known as the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX).

Through RTS technology, users will be able to trade all of NASDAQ Dubai's listed products, including equities, derivatives and structured products. NASDAQ Dubai launched the first equity derivatives platform in the UAE in November 2008. The exchange opened in 2005 as the international stock exchange between Western Europe and East Asia.

RTS will offer direct market access (DMA) to the market through its entire trading solutions portfolio, including its RTD-API's, the RTD front-end trading systems RTD and eRTD, as well as RTD Tango, its high-performance automated algorithmic trading solution.

RTD Tango has been successfully deployed in Dubai and the Middle East since 2006 for market making, arbitrage and hedging. With the connectivity to NASDAQ Dubai, RTS now offers access to all three Dubai-based exchanges.

Peter FitzGerald, Chief Operating Officer of NASDAQ Dubai, said: "As we look forward to attracting new listings from around the world and from this region, we are very pleased to welcome firms and individuals who make use of RTS' advanced technology. We have worked diligently to create a world-class infrastructure and to foster growing access to the exchange globally through real-time, low-latency connectivity.''

Christian Zahm, Sales Manager for RTS and responsible for the Middle East region, said: "Dubai is a growing international financial center, and we are committed to enhancing and extending our offering in the region. We are delighted to meet the needs of our global customers, who have requested DMA to NASDAQ Dubai."
