SS&C launches Global Debt Manager

SS&C Technologies, a global provider of financial services software and outsourcing solutions, today announced the release of Global Debt Manager (GDM), a fully integrated, web-based solution for Global Corporate Trustees and Paying Agents.

GDM, an extension of SS&C's Money Market Manager platform, enables global banks and securities firms to streamline Global Registrar, Transfer and Paying Agency operations though a single entry point via the Internet. Included in the product release is a full range of Corporate Trust product support, which encompasses Conventional Debt, Asset- and Mortgage-Backed products and Collateralized Debt, as well as Short-Term Paper and Medium-Term Notes. GDM is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, with Multi-Currency/Multi-Country support across all time zones, utilizing a single database.

"There are some significant business benefits associated with implementing this technology," said Tom McMackin, Senior Vice President and General Manager, SS&C Technologies, Inc. "A single point of entry will absolutely reduce transactional risk, lower operating costs and improve client satisfaction. The new Dashboards will transform the operational management of your business and can be easily customized to provide a snapshot of either one single critical function, or provide visibility across all product lines."

GDM is available on a standalone basis or as part of the Money Market Manager platform. It integrates into a bank's Demand Deposit Account (DDA), General Ledger and Trust Accounting systems as well as Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Euroclear/Clearstream, Canada's Clearing and Depository Services Inc. (CDS) and Federal Reserve banking systems. GDM is a SWIFT-enabled message-based platform that provides paperless straight through processing.
