AllPay, a leading payments provider in Poland servicing thousands of merchants across all categories, has entered into a new agreement with Ukash, to enable consumers to load their AllPay wallet with cash vouchers to spend online.

According to AllPay's e-commerce director, Grzegorz Serafin, Ukash will be particularly popular amongst Polish migrant workers living in Europe. "Around 600,000 Poles are working in the UK alone, and many of them have not set up UK bank accounts or taken out credit cards.

"They like to shop on Polish language sites for familiar products and services to send back to relatives and friends in Poland and to enjoy in their new home. The link with Ukash brings them all the benefits of buying goods and services on the net, using cash, in a highly secure environment."

According to Mark Chirnside, CEO at Ukash, the recently implemented online issuing of Ukash vouchers in Poland will also open up the home market massively: "Merchants signed up with AllPay will benefit tremendously from reaching into sections of the community that have previously been unable to transact online, now that they can top up their wallets with cash."

Buying and using Ukash is incredibly simple. In the UK and Europe, Ukash is working with partners to provide accessible purchase points for consumers to buy Ukash vouchers. There are currently 120,000 payment/purchase terminals operating in the UK, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain, in newsagents, grocery stores, petrol forecourts and other convenient locations. Ukash is also issued online in 20 countries, and unlike other pre-paid initiatives Ukash is free to the consumer at the point of purchase, ensuring cash consumers are not discriminated against.

Merchants have chosen AllPay as it is a technically easy to integrate product that is backed by a highly secure infrastructure, providing the reliability & assurance necessary for payment transactions.
