The findings of the survey, commissioned by Business Control Solutions, show that finance departments are facing tough times with numerous disparate systems, error-prone manual processes and more time spent crunching the numbers rather than analysing them. Increasing time is spent on month-end procedures, with balance sheet substantiation taking up an average of 7.2 days of departmental time each month.
