Interchange Fees, Card Fraud and Merchants

Card Fraud can be eradicated but only if card issuers will take the reponsibility of implementing the correct solutions. The solutions that provide the best protection and which can eliminate card fraud have to be implemented by card issuers, on their side. Card Issuers are making the mistake of 'passing the buck' to merchants when these appropriate solutions do not have to be implemented on the merchant side.

Perhaps card issuers will soon realize that they stand a better chance in justifying and keeping their interchange revenues by implementing the correct solutions that will wipe out card fraud.
