- more contracts than citizens in Finland - due to multibank relationships
- interesting as e-banking typically carries a monthly fee (some 2€) - but has discounts and is free for young customers (up to 26 typically)
- slowing transaction growth may reflect both slower economic growth and above all rapidly growing use of e-invoicing
- translation to EU-level would mean som 26bn payment transactions
With the rapid growth of E-invoicing it looks like interesting opportunity for governments and consumers to jump on the Electronic Invoicing "Band Wagon"!
Agree James. And they for surely do - large enterprises setting deadlines and especially public sectors. "How can I save tax payers' money today" is of course the first thought in the morning when a civil servant wakes up. This is of course a question of
much more than just saving costs.
