Who owns my data and where it is? Google has a lot of info about me, banks and insurance agents have it too, credit card companies carry a lot of payment data about me plus several other companies and administational organisations. What if some of the data is out of date but based on this data my insurance is determined without telling me where data came and how it is used. Not so nice scenario.

Today a lot of info is in sealed silos. Based on these silos, lot of decission is made. How about if these silos would be open and all the open data would be available in a way that I could decide to whom I reveal my data and to whom I don't give a data. 

Open data would help everyone to make right adjustments faster and decissions would be based on real info, not on fictional data, where power is left for few actors to determine which is correct and which is not.

Same open data question can be illustrated with countries. For example, if there would have been real data on real economical data on countires who are in real deep s..t right now. If every country would open their data bases on debts and loans to one platform, where with analytical tools would be possible to evaluate all the data and make consensus analysis. 

Similar way as Linux has been created, there is a need for open date exchange, where everyone benefits when data is open. For banking business giving data about their customers to open platform can reduce and adjust risks.
