ING creates Dutch 'mini-state' in Second Life
Dutch banking group ING has ceated a virtual mini-state - ourvirtualholland - on screen-based 3D-world Second Life.

Unfortunately, it seems likely that ING's 'ourvirtualholland' may have to contend with some of the issues found in 'ourrealamsterdam' - take a look at this news report
from Reuters' Second Life columnist Warren Ellis (no relation) recorded on his own
blog.
Here's a snippet of Warren's report:
<There have been attempts, recently, to downplay the role of sex in Second Life. Anyone’s who’s spent more than a day in-world knows those attempts to be disingenuous at best. The mainland is divided into Mature and PG areas, and any tour of the Mature regions
will inevitably feature a collision with the sex business.>
This probably isn't a problem for the broad minded Dutch audiences but may raise an eyebrow or two among ING's customers elsewhere in the (real) world.
