I like watching skating - mens, womens, pairs, ice dancing (yes, there is a difference). But since the UK hasn't had a contender on the ice since Torville and Dean (look them up) the BBC doesn't show any skating in prime time!
What they do show is curling. A sport where men and women slide stones on the ice and chase in front of them with brooms.
Well, now,
according to the New York Times Wall Street-types like nothing more after a day of hiding the bonus checks than to watch curling on CNBC.
Who would have thought it?
