Does Windows slow down of its own accord?

14 January 2009  |  4061 views  |  3  |  Recommends 1

I read this piece about "code rot" this morning. Curious. Every Windows PC I have ever owned has seemed to get slower as time goes by - and that includes servers. Sometimes defragging the d...

The first thing I do when I get to work is switch my PC on. I then go and make a cup of tea and usually on my return it's ready to do something useful. It seems I am fortunate. Workers in some majo...

London Pub - The French House

You'll find The Lamb tucked down the end of Lamb's Conduit Street and a short 10 minute stroll from Holborn and Russell Square tubes. The street is also home to one of my favourite bike shops - Bikef...

Think you're safe? Try this! (only applies to Windows PC users). It's a bit slow and plodding but it does the job. Yes - it's Get safe online week - an annual UK bash to make the public aware of th...
