Sava began her payments journey at Custom House Global Foreign Exchange, which was eventually purchased by Western Union Business Solutions. Eventually, she joined her former Custom House colleagues at AscendantFX, where she has worked as Director of Treasury for 6 years.
Career History
Sava Ruljic immigrated to Canada from Serbia, spending her early life in the beautiful Baltic region of former Yugoslavia. Her cultural background and upbringing have defined her ambition, determination, and empathy as a professional.
Sava originally obtained a degree in Tourism from the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC. Eventually, she discovered a passion for the payments industry, fascinated by the complexities of domestic and cross-border payments and their continuously emerging markets. That passion, combined with a natural ability to adapt in this ever-evolving industry, has led to a storied 16-year career.
