Financial news service Reuters has appointed Greg Meekings as chief information officer.
In his new role, Meekings will head all internal and global business systems and administration. He will also be responsible for customer service initiatives at Reuters Business Centres and IT security and sourcing across the company.
Meekings has been with Reuters for over 15 years and joined as international technical manager for the trading room systems product group. More recently he has held managing director roles at Reuters Global Services, Reuters Global Transactions and the Corporate Technology Group.
He will be based in London and report directly to company COO Philip Green.
