Spanish bank La Caixa has signed a four-year renewal contract with EDS for a range of outsourced IT services across its operations.
Under the agreement, EDS will provide a range of IT services including data centre management and contingency; projects and applications management for both legacy and Internet platforms; call centre management; and human resources management and administration outsourcing. EDS will provide these services through its information solutions and business process management lines of business.
The new contract renews an agreement originally signed between the two companies in 1996.
