Donald Trump's luxury hotel chain appears to have fallen victim to a data breach that has seen credit card data compromised.
Citing multiple sources, security blogger Brian Krebs says several banks have traced a pattern of fraudulent card payments to accounts used at various Trump hotels.
Hotels in Chicago, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York are all thought to be involved in the breach, which seems to go back to February.
Responding to the story, Trump's son Eric issued a statement saying: "Like virtually every other company these days, we have been alerted to potential suspicious credit card activity and are in the midst of a thorough investigation to determine whether it involves any of our properties."
