State Street implements private cloud

State Street is rolling out a private cloud environment to provide clients with access to data and analysis in real time.

The US financial services giant outlined plans late last year to introduce a private cloud to help slash its IT costs, which have historically accounted for over 20% of operating expenses.

The cloud environment provides capacity on demand, reusable software and services and enterprise-level security, says State Street. This means customers get real-time data infrastructure, faster time to market, automation and capacity on demand and protected data integrity.
