Natexis Commodity Markets live with Ffastfill trading ASP

London derivatives software vendor Ffastfill says France-based Natexis Commodity Markets has gone live with its managed ASP trading service.

The hosted service provides users and Natexis customers with direct access to futures and options exchanges, including LME, Euronext Liffe and ICE.

The deal includes provision of FFastFill's Trading Pro order book, Tracking Pro application and risk management technology. The vendor says Natexis will add automated and FIX trading capabilities to the service in the future.

The system will be intergrated with Natexis's back office and risk management system to provide straight-through processing of trades.

Keith Todd, FFastFill's executive chairman and CEO, says the Natexis contract is "an important competitive win in the fast growing commodities trading markets".

The vendor says it won the contract after an independent third party consultancy report.

Last month FFastFill reported an approach to buy the company that "may or may not lead to an offer being made".
