EasyScreen launches EasyXchange service in US with Savvis

London-based EasyScreen is to use Savvis Communications' Financial Xchange network to launch and distribute its direct access futures and options trading platform, EasyXchange, in the US.

Under the contract, Savvis will provide 24/7 integrated hosting and network services for EasyXchange, which will be managed from its facility in Chicago.

US Clients will have access to EasyScreen's EasyRouter, Easy Active Trade and EasyShield applications as well as EasyFIX API over the Savvis network.

Philip Docker, chairman of EasyScreen, says: "Savvis' well-documented network performance, combined with their pedigree in the financial services sector and virtualised approach to service delivery, made them the clear choice for launching and establishing the EasyXchange trading platform in the United States."

The platform will provide acess to Euronext Liffe, Eurex, Euronext Paris, Chicago Board of Trade e-CBOT, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Montreal Derivatives Exchange, Singapore Exchange, the Sydney Futures Exchange and vendor connected equity and FX markets worldwide, with more to follow in the future, including the proposed Eurex US.

Easyscreen recently raised £750,000 in cash through a placing in order to fund its launch in the US.
