Sun Microsystems and the Concise Group are working together to deliver J2EE-based payment systems designed for Swift, RTGS, domestic and eurozone cross-border payments.

The payments practice is based on Sun's Java technology combined with Concise's payments architecture.

John Cotterell, managing director of the Concise Group, says: "The decision by Sun to select Concise as their partner of choice for the implementation of J2EE payments solutions is an endorsement of our component-based architectural solution to address the problems faced by banks in today's competitive environment."
