SimCorp, a leading provider of investment management solutions and services for the global financial services industry, today announced a new partnership with Opus Nebula Ltd., a London-based provider of fund and client reporting Software as a Service (SaaS).

Through this exclusive partnership, SimCorp's award-winning SimCorp Coric client communications and reporting solution will underpin the Opus Nebula SaaS reporting service, which is hosted on the Microsoft Azure™ platform.

Opus Nebula provides hosting, onboarding, data integration, report design, configuration, and maintenance services, for small to mid-sized wealth and asset management firms. Clients will benefit from the power and versatility of SimCorp Coric on a pay-per-use cost basis, which scales in line with usage, frequency, and volumes. All clients will benefit from SimCorp Coric's standard multi-tenant infrastructure, web-based interfaces, data mapping, workflow, and reporting elements. Opus Nebula will apply client-specific data validation, template layouts, and branding elements, according to individual requirements.

Opus Nebula's client reporting SaaS offering is ideally suited to small to mid-sized private wealth and institutional asset management firms wanting the ability to produce highly customized and timely reports, via easy to use dashboards, while also benefitting from the efficiencies and savings that SaaS provides.

Terms of the agreement provide SimCorp with a minority stake in Opus Nebula Ltd. In further support of the partnership, SimCorp will provide Opus Nebula with technical and business development support.

Klaus Andersen, Managing Director at SimCorp Coric, said: "SimCorp's investment in Opus Nebula is an exciting realization of SimCorp Coric's client reporting roadmap. This partnership is indicative of SimCorp's ongoing commitment to supporting SaaS delivery models and cloud-based infrastructures. It fits perfectly with SimCorp's strategy to serve mid to large-sized wealth and asset managers directly, while addressing the reporting needs of smaller firms such as family offices, hedge funds, and boutique private wealth firms via third party domain specialists."

Andrew Sherlock, Director and Co-founder of Opus Nebula, said: "Our team is highly experienced in delivering reporting solutions based on SimCorp Coric. We have been instrumental in driving operational efficiencies and client servicing improvements within the asset management industry. We believe there is a vast untapped opportunity to deliver quality and value, through SaaS-based reporting, to a wider audience.
