Nochex Ltd, the UK's leading independent provider of online payment services to internet entrepreneurs, is pleased to announce that it has become the latest Payment Service Provider (PSP) to give the V.me by Visa digital wallet service access to its e-commerce merchant portfolio.

V.me by Visa is the UK's first pan-European digital wallet service to be offered by banks and financial institutions. Offering simple, secure online payments, V.me by Visa is designed to increase consumer confidence in online shopping and reduce the proportion of sales that are abandoned during the checkout process.

"Nochex is very pleased to confirm that V.me is completely integrated into the Nochex payment service providing another attractive alternative payment option for Nochex' retailers throughout the UK. Online shoppers want to be able to make their purchases quickly and safely, and integrating V.me with our existing capabilities is another important step forward," said Martin Greenbank, Chief Executive Officer, Nochex.

"We're delighted to welcome Nochex to the list of payment service providers supporting V.me by Visa," said Wendy Martin, Executive Director of V.me by Visa. "Their support will help us make V.me by Visa available to an even wider range of merchants and retailers in the UK."

Daft 4 Art N Crafts Ltd, is a typically remarkable online business that is now accepting payments via V.me. Based in Swindon, the company is over ten years old and specialises in providing the fantastical contents of children's and grown-up's party bags. Owner Martin Ewer says "We have always tried to react promptly to changes in our industry and more importantly by our shoppers. Our customers expect greater degrees of convenience and security in terms of how they can pay. V.me enables our customers to make simple and secure online payments, without requiring them to enter their card details every time they get to the checkout. Since we began working with Nochex, we have been really impressed that they share our passion for putting the customer first and when they suggested we adopt V.me as a payment method we were immediately won over by their enthusiasm."

As the name would suggest Happy Beekeeper is a website dedicated to beekeeping and is focused on becoming the UK's leading website for bee keeping supplies! The owner of Happy Beekeeper, based near Swindon, is James Durham. James says "We were really excited when we were offered the opportunity to be among the very first retailers to offer V.me as a payment method on our website. We have built up a really close relationship with Nochex and as soon as they suggested that we introduce V.me we wanted to do it! Our customers expect high quality, and we know that Nochex and V.me will help us to meet their expectation".

Harrogate Bird Tables is a relatively new business, started by proprietor Mark Sheerin. Faced by a hostile labour market, he took a gamble based on a conversation with a garden centre owner. "I asked what keeps you going through the Winter, and the answer was bird seed; seven tons of it! I thought about how I could exploit a similar opportunity using my own skills and interests and bird tables was the result." Mark now makes and sells a wide-variety of traditional bird tables from his website. Making things easy for his customers is really important. "Visa is such a trusted brand that when Nochex approached me with a view to our being one of the initial merchants to offer V.me, we could not say 'yes' fast enough! We have worked well with Nochex for many years and when they recommend an opportunity like this to us we are very keen to take it."
