Last week a Twitter account using the handle @MidasBank appeared, claiming to be the "far-Eastern Financial District" of TeamGhostShell, itself a branch of the loose Anonymous collective.

The MidasBank account manager, 'Masakaki' dumped 12 data files on privatepaste and pastesite along with a message claiming: "IT Wall Street owned. Around 50.000 accounts compromised. The list contains both current, past, and rejected IT personal from Wall Street."

The privatepaste and pastsite posts have since been removed but, according to Computerworld - which managed to examine them before they disappeared - names, mailing and e-mail addresses, usernames, hashed passwords and phone numbers for thousands of people who have applied for IT jobs on Wall Street appear to have been published.
