PrivatBank goggles at Google Glass; Motorola takes the password pill

Ukraine's PrivatBank has released a conceptual video showing how the bank's mobile applications will be used by customers donning Google Glass.

The video shows a Google Glass user paying bills by taking pictures of them, transferring money to friends via voice commands, locating an ATM and withdrawing cash by scanning a QR code, and paying for fuel at the petrol pump.

"PrivatBank has become one of the first banks in the world to begin implementing QR codes and voice commands control to its services on a large scale," says Dmytro Dubilet, Marketing Director of PrivatBank. "The architecture of our applications suits Google Glass ideally. We don't even have to adapt anything, everything is ready."

Elsewhere in the magic chocolate factory, Motorola has unveiled a pill - dubbed the 'authentication vitamin' - that when swallowed interacts with human stomach acid and emits an 18-bit signal that turns the pill popper into a walking, talking password.

Slate.com has the inside dope from the All Things Digital conference in California last week.
