Speaking at the Anthemis Innovation Playground conference, Ms Oppenheimer announced that she would be advising Anthemis Group as a Venture Partner, a leading digitally native company focused on re-inventing financial services through technology. Her partnership with Anthemis will help to scale companies that are bringing rapid technological and social changes to the financial services industry.

Far from taking a combative approach, Ms Oppenheimer reiterated her belief that the route to reform for the financial services sector lies in collaboration between the establishment and these new innovative companies. "Companies with scale are often challenged by launching new ideas, companies with new ideas often struggle to achieve scale. There is a natural fit between young entrepreneurial companies with disruptive ideas and their more established counterparts. Anthemis fosters this critical and crucial collaboration and I'm pleased to be applying my 30 years of experience in the industry to their fresh approach.
