Rule Financial, the leading independent provider of advisory, business consulting, IT and software services to the investment banking community, today announces that Neil Hookway has joined the rapidly growing consultancy as a Principal Consultant in the Domain Group.
Based in the London office, Hookway joins Rule Financial with over 21 years of experience providing consultancy to, and working directly for, a number of global investment banks, across Fixed Income, Treasury, Lending, and a wide range of processing functions. These included trade capture, risk, settlement, operations and IT services. Hookway previously worked at the Man Group, Lehman Brothers and City Practitioners, and carried out consulting roles at Lloyds Bank, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, BLB, NCB (Jeddah) and HBOS amongst others.
Hookway joins from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), where he worked for over three years as Global Head of their Money Markets and Portfolio Investment Management IT Investment Programme. Last year he also project managed RBS' Markets participation in a group-wide Eurozone contingency preparation programme. This programme tested what impact the exit of a Eurozone country would have on Exposures, P&L, Risk, systems and Payments; ensuring that the bank was able to cope with any situation that may arise.
Hookway joins Rule Financial to facilitate the delivery of an expanding portfolio of projects being delivered for clients, particularly in the regulatory space, concentrating on the high level programme management required to seamlessly integrate specialists within Rule Financial with client personnel, to maximise the efficiency of any engagement. He will be reporting into head of the Domain Group, Jim Warburton.
