allpay Limited, card manufacturer, chip embedder and personalisation bureau is pleased to announce that it has been fully approved by MasterCard to manufacture and personalise MasterCard's PayPass dual interface products.

The certification ensures that allpay PayPass products meet all the technical requirements of the MasterCard PayPass specification. allpay Limited can now offer the full range of certified EMV products and services, including PayPass, Paywave, EMV Chip and PIN enabled payment cards.

Sara West, Commercial Director Card Services said, "We're thrilled to have been approved as one of only three companies in the UK to fully manufacture, chip embed and personalise Dual Interface cards for both MasterCard® and Visa. We're continually listening to our clients and developing our services to meet their needs. The PayPass rollout means that allpay is able to give its client base a comprehensive product offering and will form part of our larger ongoing expansion plan".

Marshall Haldane, Operations Director, "allpay's certification of MasterCard Paypass products demonstrates allpay's strong technical abilities and ongoing investment in providing innovative solutions. PayPass will have a marked effect on the way low-value purchases are made in the UK, for both retailers and cardholders alike, to reduce cash handling and save consumers time, whilst retailers will benefit from quicker throughput of purchases. Retailers and banking institutions see contactless payment solutions such as PayPass as an opportunity to show innovation in payments, while providing a better service to their customer. PayPass is ideal for a quick payment environment where speed is essential, for everyday small purchases, such as public transport tickets, coffee, sandwiches or fast food".

allpay's products, services and solutions are designed to be quality led, customer focused and flexible to provide all clients with products and functionality to meet the changing market needs.
