Tsys fills two senior positions

TSYS (NYSE: TSS) today announced the addition of two team members to its senior management group. Dennis Jones joins TSYS as Group Executive of Business Operations, TSYS International, and Rick Machold joins as Group Executive, Assistant General Auditor, TSYS.

"Their leadership qualities and industry insight will be invaluable to TSYS as we continue to grow our company both here in the U.S. and internationally."

Jones will oversee the operations teams responsible for account migration, data center and facilities, customer care and production support for TSYS' international segment, and will report to Gaylon Jowers, president of TSYS International. Jones has led many large-scale operations in multiple countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the UK and the U.S., managing portfolio strategy and performance, acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as sales and marketing. He has held senior executive positions at NatWest and subsequently RBS, including a two-year assignment as Chief Executive Officer at RBS National Bank in the U.S. More recently, Jones served as President of the Neteller Division of Optimal Payments and Managing Director, Neteller UK LTD.

Rick Machold, group executive, assistant general auditor, TSYS

Machold will serve as assistant general auditor of TSYS, and will report to Ronnie Barnes, chief audit executive of TSYS. He will be responsible for providing independent reviews and evaluations of the company's operations, information systems, controls, major business processes and reporting functions in order to provide recommendations to management, external auditors and the audit committee. Machold is a 26-year veteran of the payments industry and related businesses, and has worked for several of the leading payments providers both in the U.S. and globally. More recently, he served as the head of enterprise risk for Invesco LTD., a leading independent global investment management company, where he designed, implemented and managed the global enterprise risk management process. Machold also held senior management positions at First Data and Certegy, and was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
