Peterevans, a leading technology provider for financial services firms, today announced the launch of xanite Wave, its new offering of mobile applications for stockbrokers and wealth managers.

xanite Wave technology powers an iPhone application launched today by Simply Stockbroking, one of the UK's fastest growing execution-only services for private investors.

xanite Wave links to a stockbroker's back office, providing data and information to display in real time on mobile devices such as the iPhone, the iPod touch® and the iPadTM. The mobile application itself does not hold any sensitive data and communicates via a secure encrypted connection, enabling stockbrokers to offer their clients a contemporary mode of trading shares without compromising security. Applications developed with xanite Wave will be made available on theApp StoreSM.

Simply Stockbroking are using the xanite Wave technology to offer the first real-time share trading and execution iPhone application in the UK. The application - available in the App Store from today - can be downloaded for free by Simply Stockbroking clients. It enables them to view their current portfolio in real time, buy and sell shares simply and quickly and place and manage limit orders on the go.

Mike Foley, CEO of peterevans commented that "xanite Wave represents the next phase in the development of the xanite product family, and is our platform to take us to the next level in the use of Mobile Technologies in the financial services industry. Mobile devices are now a near constant companion to consumers and Simply Stockbroking have recognized the growing demand from clients to trade on the go. We are excited to have enabled them to become the first provider in the UK to deliver such a service."

Stephen Pinner, Chairman at Simply Stockbroking says: "The team at peterevans have created a fantastic proposition with xanite Wave that has helped us to secure our position at the forefront of the industry. With the shift from fixed Internet-based towards mobile-based share trading, a mobile application which enables our clients to trade whenever and wherever they want is of major importance for us. We are confident the application will gain traction amongst our clients and look forward to helping them realise the benefits that mobile trading offers."
