Cloud Trading Technologies (CTTL) has developed a suite of online FX trading applications which leverages the flexibility, power and performance of Windows Azure, the cloud services operating system that serves as the development service hosting and service management environment for the Windows Azure Platform.

Windows Azure will provide CTTL customers ondemand compute and storage at Internet Scale.

"Cloud Trading Technologies has ported Cloud FX to Windows Azure, enabling banks and brokers fast deployment of a scalable FX trading solution for their client base. In addition its complete and extensive range of trading, risk management and calculation tools is currently being ported to the Azure Cloud" Howard Tolman Cloud Trading Technologyʼs Managing Director commented.

"We believe the power of the cloud will play a pivotal part in solving some of the most basic practical delivery problems in trading markets. The truly massive and sometimes random swings in transactional volumes and the increased risk inherent, have forced institutions to adopt costly hardware deployment strategies. The economics of Microsoft Azure technology changes this scenario completely, and provides unparalleled performance, scalability and resilience".

Michael Newberry, Product Manager, Azure, Microsoft Limited said "We are very excited about the new service offerings from Cloud Trading Technologies, which are built on the deep level of knowledge and trading expertise gained through 11 years of ForexManage, the parent companies, experience of delivering online trading and risk management solutions to the financial markets. Windows Azure Platform provides CTTL with significant cost savings, agility, scalability and global reach."
